The International School of Warsaw will open it’s doors for students from Nursery to Grade 9 in August 2018 in the greater Warsaw area and will add a grade or more every subsequent year after that.
The school will be heavily focused on STEaM and Outdoor Education and will have 2 main language tracks, English and French with an option of Polish, English, French or Chinese as second language.
Our campus is based outside of Warsaw, where we have a plethora of space and a more rustic atmosphere. This allows us to provide a more interdisciplinary curriculum, where we integrate traditional classroom lessons with outdoor activities. In the school, we also have a school library, indoor gym with a performance stage, and 15 classrooms. Each classroom is equipped with it’s own laptops, library, reading areas, and latest classroom technology. The outdoor grounds have a football field and basketball court, an animal stable, two playgrounds, and an open area for more casual play.
We want teachers that can adapt lessons or extend lessons to utilize our campus and the additional entities on-sight. We also prefer teachers who have IB experience, although it is not required.
The administration took up their positions in January 2018 and teachers are expected to arrive in Warsaw by middle August 2018.
An initial 2-year contract is offered for successful applicants.
Competitive compensation package offered. More information during interview.
